Summary: The story of the Prodigal Son, also known as the Parable of the Lost Son, follows immediately after the parables of the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin. We are called to: Listen to the one true God and silence the other noise, Love the Lord with all your heart and love His precious creation mankind, and Lead the sheep He has placed under your care. Summary: The Parable of the Two Debtors is a love story that focuses on Jesus’ feet being anointed with tears and perfume by a sinful woman. It’s a love story, built on a love that’s very deep and worshipful. While dining with a Pharisee, Jesus presented to him his parable about two debtors whose obligation had been forgiven by their moneylender. As a result, Jesus asked the Pharisee which debtor loved his forgiving moneylender more.

Summary: The man and the merchant risked everything for the treasure and the pearl. They wanted more than anything to learn God’s ways and become disciples who served in His kingdom. The kingdom is expensive. It costs everything the disciple possesses. There is major risk and self-sacrifice involved. But the joy of discipleship overpowers every worldly hindrance. God’s rule is worth the cost.

There is always a consequence for sin, Because the Lord love us, He chastens us. His chastening is never to destroy us, but to remind us, that we belong to Him, and His plans for us are to give us a hope and a future.

Summary: If you truly want to live a spiritually productive life you must plow the soil and prepare your heart to receive God’s word, put down roots and persevere through the trials of life, and pull the weeds of worldly riches and pursue spiritual riches instead.

Summary: God graciously invites all to come to Him, but many are self-satisfied and preoccupied with their own lives and miss out on the invitation from the Father. The things we are concerned with may be legitimate but should not dominate our lives. Only those who are aware of their inadequacy; the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame, will accept the invitation.
